About

Rooted in Ireland.
Built for industry.

An advanced materials company founded by construction and industrial operators, developing lower-carbon graphene products from Irish biomass.

Our origin

From Irish industry to advanced carbon.

BioGraphene Ireland is an advanced materials company building a long-term Irish platform for biomass-derived graphene. We were founded by operators from construction, plant sales and industrial development who saw the embodied-carbon problem in concrete and coatings firsthand, and the commercial opportunity to replace fossil-derived additives with scalable, lower-carbon alternatives made from Irish feedstock.

Today we develop BioCene®, SeaMix® and BioHurricane Bar® for specifiers, precast yards, contractors and formulators who need drop-in materials that perform in the field and stand up to sustainability scrutiny, positioned alongside Enterprise Ireland, the Bernal Institute and international industrial partners as a scalable European advanced-materials platform aligned with the circular bioeconomy.

Founders

Built by operators with deep industrial roots.

BioGraphene Ireland is led by founders with two decades of construction, industrial and commercial experience, and a clear mandate to build a scalable Irish advanced materials platform.
